Is there a limit to the number of runners?

Yes. We recommend you sign up early.

How long do I have to finish the race?

You have 60 minutes to complete the 5K, 2 Hours for the 5 Mile and 3 ½ hours to complete the Half Marathon. If you are participating in the Cellar Slam, you have 40 minutes to complete the 5K. 

Is the course stroller friendly?

Yes, but we please ask that you start towards the rear and be respectful to other runners on path. Please remember the course is a mix of pavement and dirt roads.

Is the course pet friendly?

As fond as we are of the K-9 breed, we encourage you to leave your pets at home for the comfort and safety of other runners.

I was injured after registering for the race. Can I get a refund or defer until next year?

No – there will be NO refunds or deferments. We incur fixed costs for each runner based on registration numbers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds.

Can I switch race distances?

You may transfer your registration before the race distance sells out for a fee. Contact info@rfevents.com.

Can I transfer my registration to a friend?

If the race is not soldout. You may transfer your registration to a friend for a transfer fee. Contact info@rfevents.com to make that change.

Is there an age requirement for the races?

There is no documented age requirement. However, all minors must submit a registration signed by their parent AND a parent/guardian MUST be present on race day. Only participants who are 21 and older will be allowed to do wine tastings!

What is included with my entry fee?

Your race entry fee includes post-race wine tasting, finisher's medal, finisher's wine glass, award eligibility, post-race refreshments, access to aid stations and final chip timed race results.

Can I wear headphones on the course?

We discourage the use of headphones, but it is permitted.

Will the event go on rain or shine?

The event will go on rain or shine with only the possibility of delay in the event of lightning.

Are there bathrooms available on the course?

There are porta johns at the start/finish and at select aid stations along the course.

Is the course certified?

The course will be measured correctly but not certified. It is certifiably beautiful though!

Can I register on race day?

Yes! If the race is not soldout. Please check the Registration page for details.

I don’t remember if I registered. How can I check and find out?

If you registered online you can log into your webconnex account and select “Registrations” to see your completed registration. You will receive a confirmation email once your registration was received and submitted.

Can someone pick my packet up for me?

We strongly encourage all runners to pick up their own race packet. It is important for runners to verify their data and make any necessary changes. However, if it is not possible for you to pick-up your own packet, you may have someone pick it up for you. That person will be responsible for verifying personal race information (name, age, birthdate, etc.).
